10/02/2013
Officials from the firm said its expansion signifies the company’s rapid growth, with an increased capacity to serve clients, particularly in the financial services, healthcare, and manufacturing industries. Featuring collaborative workshop and client meeting areas, its facility currently supports a team of 40 with room to more than double the number of employees in the next few years.
"We are excited to expand Slalom's presence and establish rewarding job opportunities throughout the Hartford area," said Jim Goldschlager, Market Leader of the Hartford office. "By combining the capabilities of our local talent with expertise from the firm's national teams, we are helping local enterprises improve in such areas as: information management and analytics, regulatory compliance, strategy and governance, mobility and more."
Company officials said keeping with Slalom's fun, award-winning culture, which has consistently earned Slalom recognition as a best place to work, the expanded office space will also house ample room for entertaining both clients and consultants with amenities like an internet cafe, table shuffleboard, and Microsoft Xbox.
"We are extremely proud of the amazing consultants and clients we have in Hartford," said John Tobin, Co-Founder and President of Slalom Consulting North America. "The Hartford office anchored our presence in the Northeast along with Slalom offices in New York and Boston. Together, these offices service some of the nation's most influential companies and are a big factor in Slalom's 30 percent year-over-year revenue growth rate. Jim and his team have done an outstanding job serving the Hartford community."
