PepsiCo Adding 195 Jobs in Winston-Salem, North Carolina

PepsiCo is expanding its existing facility in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, investing $7.5 million and creating 195 jobs at its sales and service call center. The One North Carolina Fund has extended the company a $400,000 grant towards the project.

"The U.S. is the single biggest beverage market in the world, accounting for 25 percent of global beverage revenue" said Darren Clark, director of Government Affairs for PepsiCo. "A big piece of what enables this critical U.S. business to grow is exceptional service to our customers. Pepsi was founded in North Carolina more than 100 years ago and has several thousand employees in the state. It currently employs 900 people in Winston-Salem.
