11/04/2015
The renovations bring the two-story headquarters to 166,000 useable square feet, providing for 300 additional workspaces, 11 conference rooms and 300 more parking spaces to support the potential for growth.
Old Dominion is a global shipper and the fourth largest less-than-truckload carrier in the nation based in Thomasville, North Carolina. The company employs nearly 2,200 employees in North Carolina and 1,015 employees at the corporate office in Thomasville.
“For more than 50 years, Thomasville has been at the center of Old Dominion’s world-wide growth,” Governor Pat McCrory said. “This investment is evidence that if companies want a supportive business climate, vast transportation infrastructure, skilled workforce and an unmatched quality of life for their employees, nothing compares to North Carolina.”
