PGT Industries Moving Production, Creating 400 Jobs in Venice, Florida
12/06/2010
"We continue to make good progress in executing our strategy during a very difficult economic and market environment," said PGT President and CEO Rod Hershberger. "Transitioning to a centralized location optimizes our manufacturing capacity and logistics, and we believe this move will position PGT to be a stronger company with focus on growing our share within our core wind-borne debris market areas."
PGT expects to complete the consolidation by the second quarter of 2011. The company produces impact-resistant windows and doors for the residential market.
