"Our strategy is to continue to grow our business in our largest market here in the USA," said Ronnie Batchler, COO for Avgol Nonwoven Industries. "Our customers continue to challenge us for more unique and innovative products that are cost-effective. We have been able to meet those challenges over the past 10 years. This has hastened our growth in Mocksville."
Avgol is investing $35 million to add a fourth product line to the Mocksville operation, a steep increase from the $3 million it initially planned to invest.
The company could receive $84,000 from the One North Carolina Fund and another $640,000 in local incentives.
