Agero Plans Operations Center In Sullivan County, Tennessee
03/04/2016
The company will be taking over an existing facility and will start renovations this month. The call center will deal with calls from vehicle owners and will act on behalf of the vehicle manufacturers and insurance providers that offer roadside assistance through Agero. The facility will be operational starting April 25.
“Our associates play a critical role each and every day they come to work. They are the first point of contact for drivers in need, whether that person is stranded with a flat tire or it is a family in a serious car accident. They are, in fact, a hero in that instant and provide a calming presence during an otherwise high stress situation,” CEO of Agero Dave Ferrick said. “It is because of this that we need people who demonstrate the highest level of professionalism to ensure that each driver’s situation is resolved quickly and safely.
“We’re thrilled to be opening a new center in Blountville and are looking forward to bringing on hundreds of additional high quality staff. By working together, we can transform a necessary roadside service into a positive experience that increases the brand loyalty of our customers,” added Ferrick.
“We thank Agero for its investment in Tennessee and creating 585 jobs in Blountville,” Governor Bill Haslam said. “It means a great deal when a company chooses to start new operations in our state. Today’s announcement is great news for Blountville and brings us another step closer toward our goal to make Tennessee the No. 1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs.”
“More than 12,600 Tennesseans work in nearly 200 telephone call centers across the state, and it is great to have a company like Agero strengthening our Team Tennessee workforce by creating these valuable jobs in Sullivan County,” Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd said. “We appreciate Agero for choosing to locate this facility in our state and look forward to their future success.”
