MG Foods Invests $2.55 Million To Expand Into Longview, Texas
05/05/2015
“This is a great win for Longview and MG Foods,” stated Longview Economic Development Corporation Board President Joe Bob Joyce. “Our central location will be a tremendous asset for the company’s fresh and frozen products distribution.”
“The company states that locating a facility in Longview will allow them to meet an increased demand in the “fresh products” division. The Longview location will allow them to sell “fresh” products across the central United States and will also allow them to deliver “frozen” products across the entire United States better serving the West Coast,” he added.
The Longview Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors voted to provide a $450,000 performance grant to MG Foods for their minimum capital investment of $2.55 million in building purchase, expansion, remodel, equipment and the creation of 120 new full-time jobs.
LEDCO Executive Director Susan Gill said, “We are thrilled to welcome MG Foods to Longview and look forward to working with them as they locate, prosper and grow for years to come.”
