ACS Manufacturing Readies Abbeville, South Carolina, Manufacturing Center
04/26/2018
Since 1995, ACS Manufacturing has delivered a broad range of solutions for sound and environmental issues, from acoustical equipment enclosures and fuel tanks to turbine systems and skids. Located at 1439 Cambridge Street Extension in Abbeville, ACS Manufacturing’s 141,000-square-foot facility is projected to come online in the third quarter of 2018.
As an incentive, Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to this project.
“ACS is very excited to be expanding our business to the Abbeville, S.C. area and working with the local and state agencies to get our facility operational as soon as possible. We have big plans to grow this location quickly and will be adding many new jobs to the area,” said ACS Manufacturing President Dan Knox.
“South Carolina’s workforce continues to show that it can produce high-quality products. ACS Manufacturing’s decision to establish operations in Abbeville County is a testament to that, and I look forward to watching all that the local workers will achieve in the years ahead,” said Governor Henry McMaster.
“Today’s announcement by ACS Manufacturing represents a tremendous win for the Upstate community. South Carolina continues to lead the way in manufacturing, and having an innovative company like ACS Manufacturing choose South Carolina is proof of that,” said Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt.
