09/22/2023
The new facility will enable the company to increase production of its circuit breakers, switchboards, panelboards and other assemblies that enable power distribution for critical infrastructure across industries.
“Eaton solutions are at the heart of electrical systems everywhere and are vital to accelerate complex infrastructure projects for buildings, healthcare facilities, data centers, industrial facilities and utilities,” said Mike Yelton, president, Americas Region, Electrical Sector at Eaton. “The latest investment in regional manufacturing reflects our commitment to respond rapidly to unprecedented customer demand and the tremendous abilities of our longtime employees and channel partners.”
Eaton is a power management company doing business in more than 175 countries. The company’s energy-efficient products and services help customers to effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more reliably, efficiently, safely and sustainably.
“We are currently about 4,000 jobs short of the New York, Tri-State area for the fourth largest manufacturing hub in North America,” noted Jon Barela, CEO of The Borderplex Alliance. “At this current rate, I believe that by the end of the year, we may surpass that.”
