05/04/2025
The company’s new facility will support wire mesh panel production operations for the company’s Troax and Folding Guard brands.
“Troax Group is pleased to announce a major investment in Tennessee, marking a significant step in expanding our North American manufacturing operations. Our new Aspen Guard facility in Portland, serving both Folding Guard and Troax brands, will enable us to better provide our customers with top-tier mesh panel solutions for safe storage, machine guarding and warehouse partitioning. This investment underscores our commitment to the region, promising new jobs and a vibrant hub for ideas, talent and innovation,” Troax Group Americas President Jose Nunez said.
“With a low cost of doing business and rich background in manufacturing, it’s no surprise Troax Group is relocating its Aspen Guard manufacturing operations from the Chicago area to Portland, Tennessee. We are proud to have this great brand in the Volunteer State and feel confident the state’s skilled workforce and sound business climate will provide the ideal climate for Troax Group’s success,” TNECD Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter noted.
Troax Group provides safety solutions for industrial environments, particularly in manufacturing and warehousing. The company specializes in metal-based mesh panel solutions for machine guarding, warehouse partitioning, and property protection.
“Creating job opportunities and bringing investment to the region is fundamental to TVA’s mission of service. We are proud to partner with Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, the City of Portland, Robertson County and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development to further that mission and welcome Troax Group to the region. We wish them success and look forward to working together to serve the Tennessee Valley,” added John Bradley, TVA senior vice president of economic development.
