Taiwan‑Based Gudeng Precision Industrial Establishes Glendale, Arizona, Manufacturing Operations

Taiwan-based semiconductor component manufacturer Gudeng Precision Industrial Co. Ltd. has established operations in Glendale, Arizona. The $5 million project is expected to create more than 30 jobs.

The company’s new 12,000-square-foot facility, located at the 1 Bells Business Park, will manufacture semiconductor, aircraft and aerospace components.

“Today marks more than the opening of a new manufacturing facility - it marks the beginning of Gudeng’s long-term commitment to building our presence and capabilities in the United States,” said Gudeng Group CEO Bill Chiu. “We chose Arizona because of its exceptional aerospace and semiconductor ecosystems, highly skilled workforce, and strong commitment to advanced manufacturing and innovation. We are proud to make this investment in Glendale, Arizona.”

Gudeng Precision Industrial specializes in the manufacturing of semiconductor wafer and photomask handling and storage systems, precision-machined components, and aerospace parts.

“The opening of Gudeng’s new facility in Glendale highlights Arizona’s leadership within both the aerospace and semiconductor industries,” noted Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) President and CEO Sandra Watson. “Gudeng’s flagship U.S. facility will diversify the supply chain for both of these critical industries, showcasing Arizona’s attractiveness for global leaders in advanced manufacturing sectors.”
