Canada-Based Hammond Power Solutions Plans Fort Worth, Texas, Manufacturing Operations

Canada-based transformer manufacturer Hammond Power Solutions plans to establish manufacturing operations in Fort Worth, Texas.

The $35.4 million investment will include the lease and equipping of a facility that will produce large standard and custom-engineered transformers. Full production is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2028.

“Over the past several years, we have made significant investments to enhance efficiency, throughput and capacity across our manufacturing operations in Canada and Mexico,” said Hammond Power Solutions Chief Operations Officer John Bailey. “The Fort Worth facility provides an opportunity to apply the operational disciplines, manufacturing processes and lessons learned from those investments in a purpose-built environment designed to support future growth. The facility will enhance our manufacturing flexibility, increase our ability to scale efficiently and reinforce the quality, consistency and reliability that define HPS.”

Hammond Power Solutions is a manufacturer of dry-type transformers, power quality products, and related magnetic components for industrial, commercial, utility, and infrastructure applications.
