Carrier Global Corporation Plans Fort Worth, Texas, Manufacturing-Engineering Operations

Climate and energy solutions company Carrier Global Corporation plans to establish operations in Fort Worth, Texas. The more than $600 million project is expected to create 1,500 jobs.

The investment will include the construction of a more than 1 million-square-foot facility at AllianceTexas which will feature engineering laboratories and manufacture advanced thermal management systems, including air- and water-cooled commercial chillers.

“This investment reflects the strong demand we are securing for high-performance, energy-efficient solutions and underscores our confidence in the future of American manufacturing,” said Carrier Chairman and CEO David Gitlin. “By expanding our U.S. manufacturing and engineering footprint, we are increasing capacity for critical technologies, strengthening supply chain resilience and creating high-quality jobs. We are proud to partner with the Fort Worth community and the State of Texas as we invest in the workforce, innovation and manufacturing capabilities needed to support our customers' growth for decades to come.”

To support the project, the Fort Worth City Council approved a seven-year tax abatement agreement valued at approximately $10.9 million. The city also nominated Carrier for a Texas Enterprise Zone grant with an estimated value of $2.5 million.

Carrier Global Corporation specializes in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and energy management technologies. The company provides commercial and residential climate control systems, thermal management equipment and related services for data centers, industrial facilities, healthcare, education and other markets.
