ALO Plans Southaven, Mississippi, Fulfillment-Distribution Operations

10/15/2026
Fashion and lifestyle brand ALO plans to establish operations in Southaven, Mississippi. The $176 million project is expected to create more than 400 jobs in DeSoto County.

The investment will include occupying up to 1.2 million square feet of an existing facility to support the company’s nationwide fulfillment and distribution, with the potential to add returns processing capabilities.

“ALO is pleased to expand our operations in Mississippi with a state-of-the-art fulfillment and distribution center that will help us serve customers across the country with seamless delivery. We’re proud to create more than 400 new jobs upon opening, and many more to come during the holiday season. We look forward to becoming part of the community,” said ALO Co-President Norm Hullinger.

To support the project, the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) is providing assistance through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive, or MFLEX, program. DeSoto County and the City of Southaven are also supporting the project.

“In distribution, reach matters, and Southaven delivers it. ALO will have the transportation access, workforce and capacity to move products quickly to customers across the country. That’s a winning combination for companies with extensive shipping needs. ALO’s decision to put a national operation in DeSoto County shows exactly why North Mississippi continues to lead in logistics and distribution,” noted Mississippi Development Authority Executive Director PJ Waldrop.

ALO is a fashion and lifestyle brand specializing in premium activewear, athleisure apparel and accessories.
