Mercury Systems Expands Phoenix, Arizona, Manufacturing Operations

10/13/2026
Aerospace and defense electronics manufacturer Mercury Systems, Inc. has expanded its operations in Phoenix, Arizona. The project is expected to create more than 50 jobs.

The expansion includes 50,000 square feet of additional manufacturing space increasing production for several products, including the company’s Common Processing Architecture programs.

“We are excited to expand our presence in Phoenix and bring more capacity online to meet customer demand for high-performance processing capabilities that ensure mission dominance for the warfighter at the edge,” said Mercury Systems Senior Vice President of Operations Tod Brindlinger. “We see strong demand signals across our portfolio, ending fiscal year 2026 with record bookings and backlog that our expanded production facility will help us to execute against.”

Mercury Systems develops and manufactures advanced electronic systems and components for aerospace and defense applications. The company specializes in high-performance processing, printed circuit board assemblies, memory solutions, space-qualified storage systems and advanced packaging technologies.

“Arizona has become a critical hub in the nation’s defense and advanced manufacturing supply chain,” noted Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) President and CEO Sandra Watson. “By expanding its largest manufacturing center here, Mercury will strengthen essential U.S. and international defense programs while reinforcing Arizona’s national leadership in aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing — all while creating high-skilled jobs for our state.”

“Mercury Systems’ continued investment in Phoenix emphasizes the strength of our advanced manufacturing ecosystem and the confidence industry leaders have in the city’s talent, business environment, and long-term growth potential,” added City of Phoenix Community and Economic Development Director Ryan Touhill. “This expansion not only brings more high-quality jobs to our community, but also reinforces Phoenix’s critical role in supporting national defense and aerospace programs. We’re excited to see Mercury deepen its roots in Phoenix.”
