Forrester Research Locates Its Operations Center In Davidson County, Tennessee

Forrester Research, a research and advisory firm, will locate its newest office in Davidson County, Tennessee. Forrester will invest $2.8 million and create approximately 120 new jobs in Nashville over the next three years.

With this expansion, Forrester will be growing its inside sales and support team using Nashville as a strategic hub. The office will serve the U.S. market, state officials said.

“Forrester is excited to join, and contribute to, one of the fastest-growing local economies and most dynamic communities in the U.S.,” George Colony, Chairman & CEO at Forrester, said.

“As home to an emerging technology sector, respected institutions of higher education, and a vibrant creative community, Nashville is fertile ground for recruiting the intellectually curious individuals, passionate about technology’s impact on business, who will help Forrester continue to grow,” he added.

“Tennessee prides itself on being a state where not only existing companies want to grow and expand, but also innovative companies like Forrester want to locate new operations,” Governor Bill Haslam said. “I appreciate Forrester for choosing to locate its new facility in Davidson County and for creating more than 100 new jobs in Tennessee. With this announcement, we are one step closer to our goal of making Tennessee the No.1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs.”

“I want to thank Forrester for choosing to locate new operations in Davidson County,” Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd. “Forrester is a leader in the research sector, which has grown exponentially in Tennessee. From 2010 to 2016, research employment has grown 34.7 percent and it is great news Forrester will be adding even more jobs to this sector and Team Tennessee.”
