01/30/2018
According to company officials, this manufacturing plant is CCPI's 13th and the first plant built since the acquisition of CCPI by Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc. in 2014.
Continental Carbonic Products, Inc. specializes in the manufacture and distribution of dry ice and liquid carbon dioxide. The company is also the nation's largest distributor of dry ice blasting equipment. CCPI maintains a reliable network of 45 dry ice distribution facilities located strategically throughout the United States.
John Funk, Presiden CCPI President said, "The new Clearfield plant significantly expands our production capacity to support the growing demands for liquid CO2 and dry ice products in the food processing and distribution, medical and pharmaceutical, automotive and other various industries we supply.”
“ This facility will not only serve our east coast customers better, but also serve as an agent of economic growth for the Clearfield area," he added.
CCPI said it chose the Clearfield location because of its close proximity to east coast markets and the presence of a dependable raw material stream of CO2 available through our agreement with Pennsylvania Grain Processing and its ethanol plant in Clearfield.
