United Alloy Expands Janesville, Wisconsin Plant
01/09/2018
According to Rock County Wisconsin Development Alliance, UAI will also be expanding its existing facility by 7,500 SF. In addition to increasing the company's overall production capacities, this new structure will house a new painting system and facilitate finished product distribution. More than 50 new full-time jobs will be created as the result of these expansion projects.
To facilitate this project, the City of Janesville approved the issuance of an Industrial Revenue Bond and it also structured a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) package.
According to James Otterstein, Rock County Economic Development Manager, "This expansion is yet another example of the thriving manufacturing environment that exists within the Janesville-Beloit MSA. Furthermore, it demonstrates the ongoing support that companies continually receive when they invest and expand their Rock County operations."
The Development Alliance said, as a recognized serial production supply partner, UAI implements cutting-edge technology and innovation related applications to ensure its products and processes meet customer, as well as accredited 3rd party provider, requirements. In addition to its ISO 9001:2008 and WBENC woman/minority owned business certifications, UAI is also UL142 and UN31A certified.
