ExactTarget Invest $45M, Creating 500 Jobs in Indianapolis
10/26/2010
"As we expand into new markets across the country and around the world, we must continue to invest in world-class talent and technology to deliver results for our clients," said Scott Dorsey, cofounder and CEO, ExactTarget. "Expanding our operations in Indiana allows us to continue to fuel our business with great minds from Indiana's colleges and universities and benefit from the competitive economic environment that the Governor and Mayor have worked so hard to create."
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered ExactTarget up to $11 million in performance-based tax credits and up to $225,000 in training grants. The city of Indianapolis and Develop Indy will support property tax abatement for ExactTarget before the Metropolitan Development Commission.
ExactTarget powers billions of e-mails, mobile messages, websites, and social media updates for thousands of companies including Best Buy, CareerBuilder, Expedia, and Microsoft.
