Consolidated Label Company Relocates Operations Center To Sanford, Florida
11/13/2013
The firm said its newly remodeled state-of-the-art facility, northeast of Orlando, offers 170,000 square feet of floor and office space. Its new 24-acre facility will allow the company to have greater flexibility with operations including more space for inventory, equipment and employees. The relocation is scheduled to begin at the end of November and finish in early 2014.
“Due to our growth over the last couple years, we saw the need to expand to a larger facility to better serve our customers’ needs and keep pace with business demand,” says Joel Carmany, President of Consolidated Label. “With our new offices and expanded manufacturing plant, we’re setting ourselves up to offer more to our customers and continue to grow our business for years to come.” In addition to the company’s plans to relocate, a new 12 color flexographic press will be installed in the facility making it a unique addition to Consolidated Label’s extensive list of capabilities.
“Our investment isn’t only in expanding capabilities but also in our team. The added amenities in the new facility will help improve our employees’ work environment and build a stronger, more lasting company culture,” noted Carmany.
“The economy is gaining strength. The City is beginning to experience an increase in economic activity. Consolidated Label is a great example of the type of quality, technologically-driven manufacturing companies that are selecting Sanford as their corporate headquarters. We are excited that one of the largest label manufacturers in the country now calls the City of Sanford home,” said Mayor Jeff Triplett.
