eviCore healthcare Expands Bluffton, South Carolina, Operations Center
11/03/2016
Located at 400 Buckwalter Place Boulevard in Bluffton, eviCore is investing in its existing facility to meet increased customer demand and accommodate future growth. In addition to creating 35 new positions, this project will allow eviCore to improve its campus for its existing 400 employees. Hiring for the new positions is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2016, according to state officials.
“eviCore is proud to be a part of the Lowcountry community, and we are excited about the continued growth at our Bluffton headquarters. We are fortunate to have the support of great partners at the State of South Carolina, Beaufort County and the Town of Bluffton. We look forward to many more successful years here,” eviCore Executive Vice President for Corporate Operations Elias Wahesh said.
As an incentive, the Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved a $300,000 Set Aside grant to Beaufort County to assist with the costs of real property improvements related to the project.
“The town of Bluffton is proud to have eviCore healthcare as part of our community. We continue to strengthen our already-established partnership with them, and we’re excited that they continue to commit to bringing high-paying jobs to our region, and especially the town of Bluffton. The $1.6 million investment and the 35 new jobs that will be created add to the strength of our town as a regional hub for companies like this,” Mayor of Bluffton Lisa Sulka said.
“Each time a company doing business in South Carolina succeeds and is able to grow here, it’s a win for the entire state. Today’s announcement shows that Team South Carolina’s approach to building a competitive business environment and a world-class workforce is working for our companies, and it shows eviCore’s commitment to our state and our people,” said Governor Nikki Haley.
