International Automotive Components Invests $7.7 Million To Expand Manufacturing In Dayton, Tennessee

International Automotive Components will invest $7.7 million to expand its manufacturing operation and production equipment in Dayton, Tennessee operations, with plans to create 50 jobs.

Located at 220 IAC Drive, the firm is a supplier of automotive components and systems, including door and trim systems, instrument panels, consoles and cockpits, flooring and acoustics systems and headliner and overhead systems, as well as complementary exterior components.

“We are pleased to be able to continue investing and growing our operations here in Tennessee, and we are thankful to the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development for their role in helping us keep the investment here,” Jeff Wisti, Dayton plant manager, IAC, said. “The automotive industry in Tennessee is thriving because of companies like IAC that continue to grow and invest in our state,” said Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty.

“Congratulations to IAC, and thank you to the Rhea Economic and Tourism Council, the city of Dayton and Rhea County for their help and support on this project. Our department is committed to reaching Governor Haslam’s goal of becoming the No. 1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs.”

“The city of Dayton and our industrial bond board was very excited to participate in IAC’s growth,” Dayton Mayor Bob Vincent said. “We were fortunate to have purchased the new building for IAC to relocate work from its smaller buildings. We have worked with IAC for several years now and have always found them to be cooperative and easy to support. We look forward to more great things in the future.”
