The investment will include an additional 500,000 square feet of space and 24 new production lines at the company’s existing campus. The expansion is scheduled for operations by early 2026.
“This is a place where you say, ‘It’s easy to do business,” said Chobani founder, owner, chairman, and chief executive officer Hamdi Ulukaya.
To support the project the City of Twin Falls, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Twin Falls, and Chobani, formalized an agreement outlining responsibilities, funding, and commitments. The agreement builds upon the original 2011 Development Agreement and subsequent amendments.
“This agreement demonstrates the strong partnership between Chobani and the City of Twin Falls,” noted Shawn Barigar, City Economic Development Director and Executive Director of the Urban Renewal Agency. “We’re committed to supporting Chobani’s continued growth and ensuring the necessary infrastructure is in place to accommodate this expansion.”
Chobani is an American food company specializing in strained yogurt, particularly Greek yogurt. The company has expanded to include non-dairy products like oat milk and creamers as well.
