United Kingdom-Based Risk Ledger Plans Rockville, Maryland, Operations
04/03/2026
The company’s new office will be located at the Rockville Innovation Center.
“Supply chains have become the biggest attack surface in cybersecurity, yet most organisations are still relying on outdated, point-in-time approaches to manage supplier risk. The reality is that security can no longer be managed in isolation, it requires visibility and collaboration across the entire ecosystem,” said Haydn Brooks, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. “At Risk Ledger, we’re pioneering Active Supply Chain Security, a new approach that connects organisations and suppliers on a shared network to identify systemic risks and emerging threats in real time. Expanding into Maryland allows us to work alongside one of the world’s most advanced cybersecurity communities as we help organisations strengthen the resilience of their supply chains.”
Risk Ledger provides a platform for managing supply chain and third-party risk, enabling organizations to assess, monitor, and share risk data across supplier networks. The company’s platform supports areas such as cybersecurity, compliance, and operational risk management.
“Risk Ledger believes that locating in Maryland will give it a greater opportunity at growing globally, and we couldn’t agree more,” noted Maryland Department of Commerce Secretary Harry Coker, Jr. “By joining our state’s expansive cyber community, the company can immerse itself in the nation’s digital economy and take on new opportunities to boost its presence throughout the U.S. We look forward to working with Haydn and the rest of the Risk Ledger team in the years to come.”
“We are proud that Risk Ledger has chosen Montgomery County’s Rockville Innovation Center,” added President and Chief Executive Officer of the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC) Jared Smith. “As a leading hub for cybersecurity and technology, Montgomery County offers companies like Risk Ledger a well-established ecosystem to launch and grow their North American operations. Their expansion from England underscores the strength of programs such as the Maryland Global Gateway Soft Landing initiative in accelerating U.S market entry. MCEDC looks forward to supporting Risk Ledger's continued growth.”
