Dayco Products Invests $2 Million To expand Its Barnwell County, South Carolina Operations Center
06/11/2013
“We are pleased with the opportunity to grow our business in North America. Demand for our products is increasing and this addition will help our company better serve our customers. South Carolina has consistently provided us with a great place to do business with a skilled workforce. We appreciate all the support we’ve received from state and local officials,” said Tom Green, director of North American Operations for Dayco Products.
“We celebrate Dayco Products’ decision to expand in Williston with the investment of nearly $2 million and the creation of 15 new jobs. Today’s announcement also shows that our state’s rural areas continue to provide a great environment for business,” said Gov. Nikki Haley.
“South Carolina’s automotive sector continues to grow and create good jobs. Not only do announcements like this one add to our reputation in the automotive club, but they also build on the Palmetto State’s manufacturing renaissance,” said Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt.
“Dayco has been a member of Barnwell County’s corporate community for over three decades and still remains one the county’s largest employers. Their additional capital investment and creation of new job opportunities shows confidence in their current employees and in our available workforce,” said Pete Grady, chairman of the Barnwell County EDC.
