Sterigenics International Expands West Memphis, Arkansas, Operation Center

Sterigenics International, the leading global provider of contract sterilization, lab services, gamma technologies and medical isotopes, completed a $16.8 million expansion to its facility in West Memphis, Arkansas. The company will nearly triple the gamma sterilization capacity.

Originally opened in 1999, the current expansion adds a state-of-the art Nordion JS10000 irradiator and boosts the total licensed throughput at West Memphis nearly threefold, enough capacity to process approximately 50,000 additional pallets of product annually. At full capacity, the expanded West Memphis facility will add approximately 20 new employees and will allow Sterigenics to better serve customers throughout the region.
