The new 132,000-square-foot headquarters includes expanded manufacturing and innovation space and a larger Class 7 cleanroom, which is expected to be operational by year's end following certification.
"We've been very successful by focusing on connectors for fluid management in a wide range of industries," said Janel Wittmayer, President of CPC. "Our engineers address fluid-related requirements so customers can concentrate on their finished products or systems. This early side-by-side collaboration means we gain knowledge of their industry and become a go-to resource."
"Customers are already benefiting from the enhanced manufacturing flexibility, versatility and capacity of the new facility," added Wittmayer. "When the time is right we will welcome our other employees to the new space. We are excited about the future as we transition to this new facility and continue serving our growing customer base with world-class capabilities."
According to company officials, the new facility accommodates significant growth in customer demand for CPC's innovative products, particularly for biopharmaceutical processing and thermal management applications. To support the company's growth, CPC said its local employee base has increased 50% in the last two years.
About 480 of the company's 600 employees are based in the new facility. CPC continues to operate an existing Class 7 cleanroom in Minneapolis and a manufacturing and customer service site in China. The company also maintains a customer service center in Germany, sales offices in 13 countries, and worldwide engineering resources.
