Earth Link Opens Latest Data Center In Miami, Florida

As part of its nationwide IT services and data center network expansion, EarthLink, an IT services and communications provider, opened its newest data center on its next-generation cloud hosting platform, at 50 NE 9th Street in Miami, Florida.

EarthLink said its new Miami data center will enable the company to fulfill business demand for its highly-secure, comprehensive IT solutions including cloud hosting, Cloud Workspace, managed security, colocation, Cloud Server Backup and application solutions.

Leveraging geographically-diverse data centers, EarthLink said it is creating fault-tolerant, enterprise class IT solutions with nationwide availability and high performing network connectivity. "Miami is one of the country's technology hotspots and a vibrant, growing market," noted Michael D. Toplisek, EarthLink Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "A vital communications hub for IP traffic, Miami also serves as a gateway to Latin America and beyond.
