Trane Technologies Expands Fort Smith, Arkansas, Operations

Climate innovator Trane Technologies plans to expand its operations in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The approximately $6 million project is expected to create 63 jobs.

Their support has been instrumental in making this expansion a reality and underscores our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the creation of high-quality jobs within the community."

Trane Technologies provides heating, cooling, and refrigeration solutions for commercial, residential, and transportation applications through brands like Trane and Thermo King. The company is a provider of sustainable solutions focused on reducing customers' carbon emissions and achieving carbon-neutral operations by 2030.

This new expansion will create more than 60 new jobs, making a significant impact on the local economy,” noted Clint O’Neal, executive director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission. “Fort Smith has all the elements needed for business success, and we congratulate the city and its leadership on this latest win.”
