London-based Spencer Ogden Expands Houston, Texas, Operations
07/31/2017
The Company reported it “has seen tremendous growth in the U.S. market since the Houston office commenced in 2011. Revenue increased by $10 million in 2016, due to demand from the power generation business, private equity firms and other financial institutions working within the energy industry.”
"Houston is a vital market for us and serves as our U.S. headquarters," said David Bumby, Head of Operations for Spencer Ogden's North American region. "Initially, we capitalized on the demand in the oil and gas sector and its relationship with Houston; however, as our office has grown, so has the demand from other clients in the energy space as a whole. The Company is in a strategic position to grow its market share in the United States even more with this move."
The firm will move into a former nightclub, a 12,000 square-foot space in mid-August. Known for its unique workplace style and design in its offices across the globe, Spencer Ogden said it is taking the Houston office aesthetics to a new level.
"The new Houston office epitomises our long term commitment and investment in Houston and the success of growth organically," said Henry De Lusignan, Regional Director of the Americas, Spencer Ogden. "Thanks to the ongoing hard-work from our existing team we can now offer further exciting career opportunities and expansion, providing new product lines for our ever increasing client base. Above all, we want to continue the successful formula that has given us satisfied clients and employees."
