Processor’s Choice Begins Plant Construction In Moody, Alabama

08/07/2014
Processor’s Choice, an industrial food ingredients distributor and broker, will begin construction on its new $10 million facility in Moody Commerce Park in Alabama.

“Processor’s Choice is excited about our expansion project in Moody. This new facility will allow us to continue to grow our business and allow us to capitalize on future opportunities. We are thankful to Mayor Joe Lee and the City of Moody, as well as St. Clair County, Don Smith and the EDC staff for their timely assistance with this project,” said Kaylan Adams, Processor’s Choice.

“St. Clair County welcomes the addition of 21 new jobs to Moody’s commerce park. We are always happy to see new companies invest in St. Clair County and make their home here. The investment and new jobs not only open doors for new opportunities for our citizens, but the generations who come after them,” said Chairman Stan Batemon, St. Clair County Commission.

“As a board member of the St. Clair County Economic Development Council and a member of the Commercial Development Authority of the City of Moody, it is my pleasure to welcome Processor’s Choice to Moody Commerce Park. Processor’s Choice is the epitome of the type of company we wanted in our commerce park. We welcome them, not only as a source of good jobs, but as a corporate citizen and neighbor as well. Welcome to our city and county,” said Joe Kelly, St. Clair County Economic Development Council Board Member.

“Moody is proud to see the growth that has occurred at the Brompton interchange. These new job opportunities and investments will positively affect our city for years to come. Processor’s Choice is joining a great group of industrial partners in the Moody Commerce Park, and we are so excited to welcome them to the Moody community,” Moody Mayor Joe Lee said.
