Siemens Energy Subsidiary Investing $30 Million in North Carolina

09/09/2009
TurboCare Inc., a subsidiary of Siemens Energy that services industrial and power generation companies, will invest $30 million to expand its facility in Rural Hall, North Carolina, according to the North Carolina governor's office. The company will create 110 new jobs at an average annual salary of $45,855 plus benefits. Massachusetts-headquartered TurboCare provides component repair, system retrofits, engineering, and parts replacement services to companies in more than 100 countries; the company currently has 176 employees at the Rural Hall facility. "TurboCare is pleased with the decision to expand the existing facility in Rural Hall," says Neil Sigmund, the company's president. "The decision was based on the existing business relationship with Forsyth County and the strong state and local community support needed for the expansion." TurboCare will receive a $220,000 grant from the state that must be matched by local governments.
