Corderill Plans Meridian, Mississippi, Operations

04/25/2026
Data center company Corderill plans to establish operations in Meridian, Mississippi. The $100 project is expected to create at least 20 jobs in Lauderdale County.

The investment is part of the larger Compass Datacenters hyperscale campus and will focus on deploying data center equipment to support high-performance computing and cloud operations.

To support the project, the Mississippi Development Authority approved (MDA) the company for its Data Center Incentive Program, tied to job creation and investment. Additional support is being provided by the city of Meridian and Lauderdale County.

“Companies looking for a location to build or expand will find that Mississippi executes at a higher level,” said Bill Cork, Executive Director of the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA). “Corderill’s investment at the Compass Datacenters campus is a strong example of how our infrastructure and proactive approach enable companies to move quickly and successfully.”

Corderill LLC specializes in digital infrastructure and data center-related operations.

“We are extremely excited to have Corderill invest in our community as part of the Compass Datacenters project,” noted Bill Hannah, President and CEO of the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation. “This project highlights the power of partnerships and the collaboration between local, state, and utility partners to bring major investments to our region.”
