Adhesive Materials Manufacturer Ritrama Expands Moore, South Carolina, Plant
07/28/2017
The company’s latest investment at the facility, which is located near the intersection of Interstate 26 and Highway 221 in Moore, South Carolina, will allow the company to add additional equipment.
The facility will be a logistics platform to service North America, as well as export to Central American and South American markets. It will also serve as the company’s North American headquarters.
“This announcement is another example of a company finding success in South Carolina and proving that it’s committed to our people by continuing to invest in them. Companies like Ritrama are an important component to the success of our manufacturing industry and one of the many reasons it’s considered one of the strongest in the world,” said Governor Henry McMaster.
“South Carolina continues to lead the manufacturing renaissance, and today’s announcement by Ritrama is a testament to that. By deciding to invest an additional $15 million in its new Spartanburg County facility, Ritrama is making a statement that South Carolina is where it wants to do business,” Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt noted.
“We are extremely pleased that Ritrama is already looking to grow and has chosen Spartanburg County as the location for its North American headquarters. Our community, region and state are dedicated to providing the support to help them continue on a path of success,” David Britt, chairman of Economic Development Committee of Spartanburg County Council and board member of the Economic Futures Group said.
