Kimberly-Clark to Create About 100 Jobs at Mississippi Distribution Center

The company will utilize 500,000 square feet of existing space in the distribution center to distribute medical devices and products.
"Kimberly-Clark appreciates the favorable business climate and support from DeSoto County and the state of Mississippi for this new distribution center," said Kimberly-Clark Healthcare President Joanne Bauer. "We look forward to having a world-class distribution facility in Southaven, which will play an integral role in helping us deliver on our commitments to our customers."
Currently Kimberly-Clark distributes products to over 175 nations, has operations in 36 countries, and employs 57,000 people worldwide.. Its global brands include Kleenex, Scott, Andrex, Huggies, Pull-Ups, Kotex, and Depend. Sales in 2010 totalled $19.7 billion.
The Mississippi Development Authority assisted the firm by providing workforce training assistance and advice about available tax incentives.
