J&R Schugel Trucking Invests $3.5 Million To Expand Its Columbus, Ohio, Logistics Division
01/27/2015
“When the time came to expand our new logistics division, we knew we would stay in the Columbus Region,” said Rick Schugel, CEO, J&R Schugel Trucking, Inc. “The workforce we find in Central Ohio is the type of talent we want to hire. And location-wise, it is surrounded by major highways that allow convenient access to our customers in key metropolitan areas.”
The transportation provider plans to purchase its current facility, along with the neighboring property, when its lease is up in July 2015. The updated and expanded space will house the new logistics division and training center. Over the next three years, the company will hire—beginning in 2015—drivers, office personnel, mechanics and logistics staff.
