Jersey Famous Foods Expands Newark, New Jersey, Production Center

Jersey Famous Foods, a USDA food manufacturer, will be expanding production with the addition of several private-label food manufacturing contracts that take effect starting in February of 2018. The company is based in Newark, New Jersey.

They company’s core food manufacturing production is in its ten varieties of empanadas as well as over thirty varieties of 4.5lb food trays sold wholesale to the food service, vending, catering and retail sectors.

Company officials said demand is high right now for USDA-monitored food manufacturing facilities that have third-party private-label food production capabilities.

“We can easily expand production - with room to grow in our facility - and we can quickly add shifts to our production schedule,”Managing Partner, Chris Consorte, said.

“Many of our clients require food manufacturing assistance, ultimately producing their own food products or private-label versions of our empanadas and food entrees,” he added.

“We are working with top-tier brands, with serious retail presences, and it’s exciting to be able to partner with them and manufacture their high-quality products for their end-users,” Mr. Consorte continued.
