Intelligrated to Add 200 Jobs in Mason, Ohio, Via Headquarters Expansion

11/24/2011
Intelligrated has announced it will double the size of its headquarters in Mason, Ohio, and add 200 jobs over the next three years. The company provides material handling solutions for the warehousing, distribution, consumer product manufacturing, and post and parcel markets.

Intelligrated is still finalizing plans for the construction of a 60,000- to 90,000-sq.-ft. facility. On the job front, its new technical and engineering positions will be in R&D, systems design and customer service. Currently the company employs 800 people in Ohio.

The state and the city of Mason provided the firm with a $15 million incentives package awaiting final approval. The incentives are likely to include an extension of the company's existing Job Creation Tax Credit, state and local loans, property tax abatement, and a State of Ohio Grant, according to a company statement.

"We aim to be the most technologically-advanced player in the material handling industry," said Intelligrated's CEO Chris Cole. "To achieve this, we need an operation that houses the best mechanical, software and systems talent in the world. These incentives will directly support these efforts, help us create and keep more high-quality technical jobs in Ohio, and advance Mason as a strategic hub of our nation's logistics network."
