FedEx Breaks Ground on New $1.5 Million Distribution Center in Quincy, IL

FedEx has broken ground on its new $1.5 million, 28,000-sq.-ft. distribution center in Quincy, Illinois. Located on six acres in the Wismann Ridge Business Park, the project is expected to be completed by March 2012.

A FedEx facility on Wisman Lane will relocate to the new center which has parking spaces for 45 employees and about 20 trailers. The new site allows for future expansion.

Located on the Mississippi River, Quincy is the largest city within a 100-mile radius. It is a regional hub for 600,000 people in Western Illinois, Northeast Missouri and Southeast Iowa.
