Managed Care Company to Create 150 Jobs in Four Ohio Communities
12/13/2011
In 1989, CareSource pioneered the state's first Medicaid managed care program in the Dayton, Ohio, area. Today, the company says it's the second-largest Medicaid-managed health care plan in the United States.
President and CEO Pamela Morris said CareSource's new patient model "will not only create jobs across the state, but [also] put our patient navigators in the heart of the communities we serve to help our members gain access to important medical care and treatment."
Specifically, the program will concentrate on movement of members along a continuum of medical care, including prevention, detection, diagnosis, treatment, supportive and end-of-life care.
