12/13/2019
SFI Arkansas specializes in Laser Cutting, Punching, Bending, Roll Forming, Welding, and Powder Coat Painting. The Arkansas plant services the Agricultural, Consumer, Construction, Transportation and Defense industries. SFI Arkansas is a performer.
"This has been a historic and busy quarter for the local economy," said Jaime Gates, vice president of the Conway Development Corp. The city has a diverse manufacturing base and draws employees from across central Arkansas, he said.
The Arkansas Economic Development Commission is providing SFI with a cash rebate based on the jobs it creates and with sales tax refunds for the purchase of building materials and equipment. The incentives are granted for three years.
“Our reinvestment into our Conway facility is very intentional,” Jim McGill, vice president and business unit manager, SFI Arkansas. “Our employees work hard every day to assure we stay globally competitive. They deserve to have the best tools and technology to maintain that competitiveness,” he said.
