Franzen-Hill Plans Reno, Nevada, Operations Center
12/02/2015
“The move to Reno is an ideal opportunity for Franzen-Hill to grow our business and is a perfect location for our base operations to support the Pacific Northwest region,” said Steve Moreland, Franzen-Hill General Manager, Reno Division. “We are already looking at procuring additional property to expand operations near Reno in the coming year.”
“We are elated to welcome Franzen-Hill to downtown Reno,” said Neoma Jardon, Reno City Council Member and representative of Ward 5, where the new facility will be located. “Not only does this bring yet another reputable company to our growing region, it also supports the Reno City Council’s strategic priorities of fostering a vibrant downtown and a friendly business environment.”
“It is exciting to see Franzen-Hill, a family-owned business, choose Northern Nevada for their expansion location,” said Mike Kazmierski, President/CEO of the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada. “It is important to recognize the addition of quality jobs they are bringing to the region and downtown Reno,” he said.
Franzen-Hill’s application for Nevada business incentives was recently accepted by the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development and was a critical factor in the company’s decision to move to Nevada.
Local business partners who played an important role in assisting Franzen-Hill with their relocation to Northern Nevada include the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, Gilbane Company, Nevada Job Connect, NV Energy, Truckee Meadows Community College and Stark & Associates Commercial Real Estate.
