U.S. Salt Expands Its Operations To Madison, South Dakota
12/20/2013
“We are looking forward to expanding our company to South Dakota,” said Tom Johnson, Owner of U.S. Salt. “The building we’re moving into is perfect for our company—it’s located on the Burlington Northern Line so the rail access is ideal for our company. Companies looking to expand, move or grow their business should take a serious look at South Dakota. The tax climate here is unmatched. I’d like to thank all of the people who worked so closely with us to make our decision to move here an easy one.”
“U.S. Salt, Inc. is a perfect fit for Madison,” said Gov. Dennis Daugaard. “With our low tax burdens and reasonable regulatory climate, U.S. Salt made the right choice to expand to South Dakota.”
“We are excited Tom has chosen to expand U.S. Salt to Madison,” said Julie Gross, executive director for the Lake Area Improvement Corporation. “The former Dakota Vinyl building, which offers ample space and access to rail, is an excellent location for U.S. Salt. It’s been a pleasure working with Tom and on behalf of the LAIC board, the city of Madison and Lake County, we welcome U.S. Salt to Madison.”
