North American Tank Expands Its Ozark, Missouri, Manufacturing Facility
02/11/2014
North American Tank designs and fabricates high-quality bulk liquid transportation truck-mount tanks and tank trailers. The company offers a variety of products, including custom and special purpose tanks and tank components, to meet a wide range of client needs. North American Tank’s skilled welders and craftsmen use the highest quality materials and the latest welding techniques.
Growing demand for North American Tank’s products and services has created a need for the company to expand. The company will retrofit a second building on its current campus to accommodate increased production and meet growing client demand, The Missouri Department of Economic Development said.
“Ozark is home to a technically-skilled workforce that has allowed North American Tank to manufacture the type of high-quality product that our customers have grown to expect,” said Jim Mohan, President of North America Tank. “Expanding here means increasing hiring, increasing production, and increasing opportunities for North American Tank—we’re very eager for this next phase in our company.”
“Advanced manufacturing plays a big role in supporting and growing the state’s economy,” said Mike Downing, Director of the Department of Economic Development. “DED is proud to partner with North American Tank, a Missouri-grown manufacturer, on its expansion in Ozark. North American Tank’s investment will help reinvigorate the local community and move Missouri’s economy forward.”
To assist North American Tank with its expansion, the Department of Economic Development and the City of Ozark have offered a strategic economic incentive package that the company can receive if it meets strict job creation and investment criteria.
