Resident Home Establishes Jeffersonville, Indiana, Mattress Factory
The investment will include building lease payments and building improvements and state-of-the-art machinery and equipment. The space will provide 300,000 sq. ft. to accommodate the company’s manufacturing and distribution needs.

Based on the company’s job creation plans, the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) committed an investment in Resident Home Inc. in the form of incentive-based tax credits. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to claim incentives once Hoosiers are hired. In addition, as the River Ridge Commerce Center is an Urban Enterprise Zone (UEZ), the company will receive an investment deduction on both real and personal property taxes. Duke Energy has also offered additional incentives.

Resident is a house of direct-to-consumer brands in the home goods space. The company owns and operates multiple products catering to different consumer furnishing needs including the award-winning Nectar, DreamCloud, Awara, Level Sleep, 1771 Living and Bundle.
