Molded Acoustical Products of Easton Expands Clarksdale, Mississippi Operations

MAP of Easton produces parts for thermal and acoustical applications in the automotive, architectural, appliance, marine and off-road industries. According to Mississippi Development Authority officials, the company is adding production lines to accommodate new or larger contracts with its growing customer base.
“We love being here in Clarksdale. Today, Clarksdale is growing, and we are looking to expand even more in the near future,” said John D’Amico, Jr., owner of MAP of Easton.
“Since locating in Clarksdale in 2000, MAP of Easton has benefited logistically from the Delta’s prime location. Coahoma County offers the company efficient access to customers east and west of the Mississippi River, paving the way for sustainable growth and new jobs for the people Clarksdale,” Governor Phil Bryant said.
The Mississippi Development Authority is providing assistance for building improvements. The city of Clarksdale and Coahoma County are assisting with the project, as well.
“For nearly two decades, MAP of Easton has thrived in Clarksdale due in part to the hard-working Mississippians who take pride in manufacturing the company’s top-quality products,” said MDA Executive Director Glenn McCullough, Jr. “MAP of Easton’s investment in this facility bringing 24 new career opportunities is a sterling example of how companies in our state achieve long-term growth with a dedicated workforce committed to winning in today’s global economy.
Headquartered in Easton, Pennsylvania, MAP of Easton offers a wide variety of acoustical and thermal products to the automotive industry and delivers to major OEMs around the world. With four locations in the U.S., MAP of Easton supplies to Toyota, General Motors, Honda, Ford Motor Co., and more. The company currently employs 60 workers in Clarksdale.
