The investment will include a new 250,000-square-foot Logistics Operations Center, located adjacent to the company’s existing manufacturing facility, which will allow it to increase production capacity for mtu Series 4000 generator sets, which are in demand from the data center industry. Operations are scheduled to begin in Spring 2026.
“The U.S. market is very important to Rolls-Royce,” said Tufan Erginbilgic, CEO, Rolls-Royce. “We have a proud history in America and we are committed to strengthening our presence to support further growth, bringing economic benefits and job opportunities. Today’s announcement is proof of the transformation of Rolls-Royce in action, enabling us to invest in areas of strategic focus, such as power generation.”
Rolls-Royce designs, manufactures and distributes power systems for various industries, including aerospace, marine, and energy. The company is the second-largest maker of aircraft engines and has major businesses in the marine propulsion and energy sectors.
