Daisy Brand To Build $116 Million Production Facility In Wooster, Ohio
06/26/2013
This represents the company’s third U.S. facility, which it is being established to serve East Coast market, according to Daisy Brand’s President Vincent Taylor.
JobsOhio President and Chief Investment Officer John Minor said that Ohio was in strong competition with several other Midwest states for the Daisy Brand project.
“Ohio’s location and ability to move product quickly and efficiently were key to this win, as well as a quality supply of cream, abundant clean water, and a pro-growth business climate,” said Minor. “Daisy Brand’s decision illustrates the success that is being achieved through the new, one-firm, one-state, economic development approach of delivering all of Ohio and all of its resources to businesses.
JobsOhio with its local partners, the City of Wooster and Wayne County, JobsOhio Network partner,Team NEO, and key state agencies collaborated to bring 89 new jobs to Ohio and support a $116 million capital investment by Daisy”.
“We welcome Daisy Brand to Ohio and look forward to building upon this new relationship,” Minor said.
