QuikTrip Invests $25M in Midlothian, Texas Distribution Facility
07/13/2010
"The opportunity for us to have tremendous growth (in North Texas) in terms of store count and additional employees is phenomenal," said QuikTrip spokesperson Mike Thornbrugh. "When you reach that critical mass, where people know who you are, you become a destination for those who are out of gas, those who are thirsty and those who are hungry."
QuikTrip ships more than 70 percent of its products through its own warehouses. The Corporation for the Economic Development of Midlothian negotiated with the company for four months before the purchase.
