AIA Countertops Plans Fabrication Plant In Baldwyn, Mississippi

AIA Countertops, a division of Patrick Industries, Inc., will invest $600,000 to expand its fabrication facility into an existing 110,000-square-foot building at the Harry A. Martin North Lee Industrial Complex in Baldwyn, Mississippi. The company plans to hire 60 associates in Lee County.

“We look forward to commencing AIA’s operations in North Mississippi and working with its skilled workforce to partner with us in expanding the geographic footprint of our countertop fabrication operations,” said Patrick Industries, Inc., COO Jeff Rodino. “We are excited about the opportunity to continue to showcase our innovative product lines to the residential, commercial, recreational vehicle and certain other industries located in the surrounding areas.”

Mississippi Development Authority is providing assistance to relocate and install equipment. Lee County is providing property tax abatements effective for 10 years. Tennessee Valley Authority is also assisting with the project.
